Robert's 10th grade teacher while attending  Federal Way High School was former King County Sheriff's Office Detective Ralph Grinding who was the King County detective for the Ted Bundy case that taught Robert some principles of investigations after Mr Grinding brought some pics of him as a former detective to class which sparked Robert's interest in investigations.
